Jarasiewicz 65th Anniversary
Mitchell and Viola Jarasiewicz of Cranberry Township will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a gathering of family and friends at 3 p.m. Sunday in the activities room at Cranberry Place.
Jarasiewicz married the former Viola Bennett on July 22, 1944, at St. Josaphats Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
They have four children, Carol Didolce of Allison Park, Patricia Jarasiewicz of Beechview, Mitchell Jarasiewicz Jr. of Peters Township and Paul Jarasiewicz of Cranberry Township. Another child, Constance Stadtfield, is deceased.
They also have 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Jarasiewicz is a retired member of Local 249 and Mrs. Jarasiewicz is a retired cook from the former Big If Restaurant.
The Jarasiewiczes are members of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.
