Knass 50th anniversary
Bill and Marie Ellen Knass of Zelienople celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Mass and renewal of vows at St. Gregory Catholic Church.
The Knasses also had a picnic with their family and friends, given by their children. This month, they will spend a week at Raystown Resort with their children and grandchildren.
Knass married the former Marie Ellen Post on July 18, 1959, in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in New Castle.
They have three children, Bill Knass of Butler, and Lori Zukowski and Lisa Lamm, both of Mars.
They also have 11 grandchildren.
Knass is retired after 38 years of service to the electrical department of Armco in Ambridge.Mrs. Knass is a homemaker.The Knasses both enjoy spending time with their family and grandchildren. They attend St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople.
