Greenawalt 50th anniversary
Fred and Wilda Greenawalt of Chicora recently celebrated 50 years of marriage.
A surprise party given by their family was held at the Eagle's Nest in Slippery Rock on their anniversary. They also enjoyed a vacation around the United States in June.
Greenawalt married the former Wilda Louise Groves on June 27, 1959, at St. Paul's Reformed Church in Chicora.
They have three children, Dale Greenawalt of Renfrew, Mark Greenawalt of Harrisville and Linda McCord of Grove City.
They also have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Greenawalt retired from Castle Rubber Co. in East Butler after 45 years. He enjoys working puzzles, trains and NASCAR.Mrs. Greenawalt is a homemaker. She enjoys scrapbooking, doing family genealogy, ceramics and crafts and collects red birds.The Greenawalts are members of the United Methodist Church in Chicora. Mrs. Greenawalt is a member of the Cheerful Workers Class.
