The Lewises in 1949

Leroy and Mary Louise Lewis of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner in June in Cedar Point, Ohio.

Lewis married the former Mary Louise McAnallen on Aug. 26, 1949, in Chicago Corner Christian Church in Chicago Corner, Ind.

They have three children, Lesley Lewis of Lexington, Ky., Vicki Eichler of Downingtown and Lynn Lewis of Chardon, Ohio.

They also have seven grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.

Mr. Lewis is retired from U.S. Steel Research Labs, where he worked as a research associate.

Mrs. Lewis is a homemaker.

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis volunteer at the VNA Hospice and serve as elders at Oak Hills Christian Church.
