Miller 60th anniversary
Edward and Helen Miller of Saxonburg celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family reunion at the Saxonburg VFW and a family dinner at the Saxonburg Hotel.
Miller married the former Helen Weber on Aug. 30, 1949, at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Hannahstown.
They have three children, Debra Bennitt of West Chester, Ed Miller Jr. of Linesville, Ind., and Michelle Davanzati of Butler.
They also have four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.
Mr. Miller is retired from Camp Lutherlyn in Prospect, where he served for 30 years as business manager, executive director and developmental director.
Mrs. Miller worked for local medical doctors for 30 years, 20 of them with Dr. Asha Marwaha.
The Millers lived in Butler Township for 43 years, where they were members of Trinity Lutheran Church. They are now members of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Saxonburg.
