The Youngs in 1959

Norman and Madeline Young of Eau Claire will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a dinner with family and friends at Epiphany Church Hall in Boyers.

Young married the former Madeline Walker on Sept. 5, 1959, at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.

They have four children, Norman Young Jr. of Chicora, Sherry Osborne of Girard, Ohio, Wanda Young of Oil City and David Young of Cochranton.

They also have eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Young is retired from Ti- Brook Inc. of Brookville, where he worked as a supervisor for 28 years.

Mrs. Young is a homemaker. She enjoys crafts and gardening.
