The Moores in 1949

Harvey and Betty Jane Moore of Butler and Leesburg, Fla., celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Villa.

Moore married the former Betty Jane Sumney on Sept. 8, 1949, in St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler.

They have three children, Barbara Ann Gerstner of Butler, David Moore of Butler and Dale Moore of Slippery Rock.

They also have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Moore is a retired dairy farmer.Mrs. Moore is a homemaker.The Moores are members of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
