The Blums in 1959

Edward "Bud" and Mary Jean Blum of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise picnic at the home of their daughter in Butler.

Blum married the former Mary Jean Johnston on Sept. 19, 1959, at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have two children, Cheryl Gallagher and Paul Blum, both of Butler.

They also have four grandchildren.

Mr. Blum is retired from Armco Steel. He enjoys golfing and hunting.

Mrs. Blum is a homemaker. Both Mr. and Mrs. Blum like to travel and enjoy the outdoors.
