Raabe 50th anniversary
Jesse and Helen Raabe of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a dinner party at Creative Catering.
Raabe married the former Helen Young on March 28, 1960, at the First Congregational Christian Church in Greensboro, N.C.
They have four children, William Raabe of Butler, Sherri McGinley of Davie, Fla., Christina Eck and Heather Kretzer, both of Butler.
They also have nine grandchildren.
Raabe is retired from Armco Steel after nearly 40 years of service. His lifelong love has been competitive pistol shooting.
Mrs. Raabe enjoys bowling, quilting, Bible study and watching sports.
Together, they enjoy spending time with family, especially their grandchildren, traveling, camping and motorcycling.
The Raabes are members of Hill United Presbyterian Church.
