Cochran 60th anniversary

The Cochrans in 1950

Warren and Olga Cochran of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Cochran married the former Olga Walowen on May 13, 1950, in Lyndora. They have resided in Butler for the past 60 years.

They have two children, James Cochran and Deborah Harff, both of Butler. Two other children, Michael Cochran and Thomas Cochran, are deceased.

Cochran was a sergeant of Troop D of the PA State Police in Butler. He retired after a 30-year career. Previously, he had served his country in the Army and is a World War II veteran.

Mrs. Cochran worked as a presser for Ideal Cleaners before becoming a homemaker.The Cochrans are both very active and enjoy camping, cooking, gardening and reading.The Cochrans are members of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Butler.
