The Walkers in 1960

Jack and Catherine "Kitty" Walker of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday in the social hall of Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., Butler.

Walker married the former Catherine Stokes on June 17, 1960, at Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church.

They have four children, David Walker of Wichita, Kan., Richard Walker of Butler, Mark Walker of Butler and Lori Marsh of Harrisburg. Another child, Joyce Walker, is deceased.

They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Walker is retired from Armco Steel.Mrs. Walker is a homemaker.The Walkers are active members of Grace at Calvary Lutheran Church in Butler.
