Gross 50th anniversary
Ralph and Ruth Gross of Zelienople celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner in Matthews, N.C.
Gross married the former Ada Ruth Murray on June 14, 1960, at Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church in Butler.
They have two children, Andrew Gross of Matthews, N.C., and Timothy Gross of Wexford.
They also have three grandchildren.
Gross is retired from the Seneca Valley School District, where he was a social studies teacher. He enjoys woodworking and golf. He is an active member of his church, where he is involved in Sunday school and the adult choir.
Mrs. Gross is a retired home economics teacher and dress maker specializing in bridalwear. She enjoys reading, sewing and needlework. She is also an active member of her church.
Mr. and Mrs. Gross are members of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.
