Linda and Gib Lewis

Gib and Linda Lewis of State College celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family trip in July to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. A surprise party was held Aug. 27 in State College with family and friends.

Lewis married the former Linda Davidson on Aug. 27, 1960, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Greensburg.

They have three children, Gary Lewis of Corona, Calif., Scott Lewis of State College and Bruce Lewis of Brackenridge.

They also have two grandchildren.

Lewis is retired as a credit manager at Spang and Co.

Mrs. Lewis is retired as a paraprofessional in the Butler School District.

The Lewises were members of North Street Christian Church in Butler. They now belong to State College Christian Church.
