James and Wynona McCreary of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with dinner at the Happy Hunters Club in Fenelton, attended by about 120 guests including McCreary's five siblings, Mrs. McCreary's eight siblings as well as nieces and nephews and their families.

McCreary married the former Wynona Stiles on Aug. 27, 1960, at the Methodist Church in Winchester, Va.

They have four children, Kimberly Armahizer of Butler, James McCreary of Fenelton, Thomas McCreary of Butler and LeeAnne Rodgers of Butler.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

McCreary is a retired diesel mechanic.

Mrs. McCreary retired after about 18 years in food service. She is a homemaker.
