Wigton 102nd birthday
Myrtle Lida Wigton will celebrate her 102nd birthday at her home in Petrolia.

The former Myrtle Lida Watson was born March 4, 1909, to George and Lida Watson on the family farm near Cabot.
She is the last surviving of nine children and has 20 living nieces and nephews and family.
She married Charles Wigton on Nov. 28, 1934, at the Wigton family home in Petrolia. He is deceased.
She has two children, Donald Wigton of Phoenix and Charles Wigton Jr. of Florissant, Mo.
She has 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. One grandson is deceased.
She also has 20 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wigton was a homemaker. She enjoys receiving cards and baking.
She likes reading her Bible and fellowshipping and worshipping at Bruin United Methodist Church, where she is a member.
