9:34 p.m. Thursday - Robert C. Rinehart III, 21, of 106 Gerri Lane, Harmony, faces driving under the influence of alcohol charges following a hit and run incident. Police said motorist Michelle Spirk, 34, of Portersville flagged down an officer on North Main Street after her vehicle was struck by another vehicle that drove away traveling east on Route 68. Police caught up with the vehicle that was driven by Rinehart.8:08 p.m. Thursday - The Rev. Pat McElroy of Park Presbyterian Church, 115 East Grandview Ave., Zelienople, reported the church's front door had been pried open and a guitar valued at $400 and possibly a purse were taken. Police later learned the guitar was pawned at Guitars Plus in Wexford for $75. Police have several suspects.
