George Daw Jr.
George William Daw Jr., 60, of Muddy Creek Township, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, while under the care of UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.
Born Nov. 24, 1963, in Wilkinsburg, he was the son of the late George William Daw Sr. and the late Mary Louise (Greer) Daw.
George proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He loved Harley Davidsons and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He also loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tracy (McCormick) Daw; his children, Casey (Brittany) and Brandon (Alaina) Sandusky; his grandchildren, Logan and Layla; his sister, Tammy (Shawn) Seibert; his brother, Don Wienand; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Robert Wienand.
DAW — Friends of George William Daw Jr., who died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
George will be laid to rest with full military honors at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
