James “Jim” Hesidence, 69, of Butler, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Nov. 10, 1954, to the late Paul and Margaret (Green) Hesidence.

Jim graduated from Butler High School and studied horticulture at Butler County Community College. He loved his family and his family genealogy, had strong faith and was an avid Steelers fan. Jim also enjoyed music and the outdoors.

He was the brother of Ann Neff, Donna MacNeil and Marylee Ayers; and uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Hesidence; and his brothers, John “Jack,” Richard “Rick” and Paul Hesidence Jr.

HESIDENCE — Arrangements for James “Jim” Hesidence, who died Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2024, were made privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Wendelin Church, 210 St. Wendelin Road, Butler.
