Pickios

Anthony “Tony” G. Pickios, 91, of Zelienople, former long-term resident of Dix Hills, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, surrounded by family.

He was the cherished husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Pickios; loving father of Stephen (Sharon) Pickios; and proud grandfather of Sophia and Nicodemus Pickios. He was preceded in death by his brother, George; and parents, George and Irene Pickios. He also is survived by his beloved nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Anthony had a full life, taking care of his family through his career as an architect. He will always be remembered for his delightful smile and warmth.

Anthony’s family would like to extend their gratitude to all the caregivers who patiently provided the help and support he needed during his later years.

PICKIOS — Friends of Anthony “Tony” G. Pickios, who died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

There will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cemetery, St. George Chapel, 8941 Ringeisen Road, Allison Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
