Wentling

Carol P. Wentling, 90, of Harmony, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center.

Born Oct. 20, 1933, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Nellie (Kettren) Diehl.

Carol enjoyed spending time gambling at the casino, playing bingo and camping. She also loved her cat, George. Most of all, she was a wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. Carol will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her family.

Carol is survived by her husband of 43 years, Francis Wentling; her children, Kimberly Mick (David) and Carolyn Smith; her grandchildren, Heather (George), Amber (Jim), Matthew (Pamela), Ryan, Autumn (Jason) and Ashley (Zach); and her eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her two sons, Robert Eugene Haefner and Earl Raymond Haefner; her brothers, Earl Diehl and David Diehl; and her sisters, Doris Anderson, Nelrose Altmyer and Marilyn Daniels.

WENTLING — A celebration of life service for Carol P. Wentling, who died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024, will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
