Thelma and William Jeffreys

William and Thelma Jeffreys of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at Rachael's Roadhouse.

The former Thelma Ralston married Jeffreys Jan. 25, 1957, at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.

They have four children, Brenda Williams of Beaver; Beth Magill of Hastings, N.Y.; Walter Jeffreys of Columbus, Ohio; and Betsy Flickinger of Bairdsford.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Jeffreys is retired from Westinghouse Record Center in Boyers.

Mrs. Jeffreys is retired from Slippery Rock United Methodist Church, where she worked as a secretary.

The couple belongs to Slippery Rock United Methodist Church.
