3:18 a.m. Sunday — A 23-year-old woman allegedly punched an officer at the police station.The suspect, Brady Lynn Morgan, was arraigned on felony assault and other charges, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.Police initially arrested Morgan after a disturbance at a home in the 100 block of Broad Street. Morgan, who appeared intoxicated, had to be taken kicking and screaming to the station.While being booked on charges, she got up from a chair and punched Patrolman David Villotti in the face, documents said. Villotti suffered swelling to the left side of his face.Morgan is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.Sunday — A burglar overnight broke into the Benjamin Beetle clothing store on West New Castle Street. Unspecified property was taken in the burglary. A police report was not immediately available.11:58 p.m. Thursday — Ronald Guenter, 72, of Butler was hurt when his car collided with a minivan at East Jefferson and South McKean streets. Following the collision, the van, driven by Stacy L. Czzowitz, 25, of Butler, was pushed into a utility pole.Guenter, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.8:52 p.m. Wednesday — George E. McGary IV, 39, of Prospect suffered minor injuries when his motorcycle collided with a car on Mercer Street between Wood and Pine streets. McGary was wearing a helmet. Charlotte A. Deer, 59, of Fombell, Beaver County, was the other driver.

Monday — Police charged Jason M. Beattie, 25, of Pittsburgh with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly shoplifting $162 in merchandise about 4 p.m. July 3 at the Walmart in Butler Commons.Monday — Police charged Gregory T. Johnson Sr., 37, of Niles, Ohio, with stealing hundreds of dollars from a township shoe store where he used to work.Johnson allegedly took $1,097 over six months while an employee of the Shoe Carnival in the Butler Crossing shopping plaza. He is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.4:44 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Cody R. Griffin, 18, of Warren, Ohio, hydroplaned on rain-soaked Route 422 at Greenwood Drive, hitting a stop sign and crashing into a ditch. Griffin was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:50 a.m. Saturday — Anthony M. Puglisi, 23, of Butler allegedly punched another man in the face at the Butler Days Inn's Playmakers Bar on Route 8 south. Puglisi is charged with simple assault and harassment.1:30 a.m. Saturday — Police arrested Randy R. Plecha, 29, of Butler, who was wanted on charges in connection with a stolen vehicle, after officers found him hiding at his girlfriend's home at Old Plank Estates.Officers were looking for Plecha after they spotted him driving a stolen vehicle about Aug. 26 in the township.Plecha was arraigned on felony and misdemeanor counts of receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail, following arraignment.Police also arrested his girlfriend, 31-year-old Candace Petry, on a felony charge of hindering apprehension or prosecution. She is free on $10,000 unsecured bail.6:58 p.m. Friday — Jeffrey Watson, 47, of Butler, while driving a motorcycle, struck his left leg on the right front bumper of a car that pulled out in front of him at Hansen Avenue and Arbor Street. The unknown driver of the white car, possibly a Chevrolet, did not stop.1:39 p.m. Friday — A three-vehicle wreck caused a 30-minute detour of northbound traffic on Route 8 south near Litman Road. The crash happened when a car driven by Linda Noullet, 33, of Butler ran a red light and collided with vehicles driven by Linda Boyda, 57, of Renfrew and Leo Hebeler, 53, of Butler.Police cited Noullet for not stopping at a red light and careless driving.2:26 p.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Martha Pflugh, 45, of Butler and Susan Ekstrand, 19, of Altoona, Blair County, collided at Route 68 and Benbrook Road. Police cited Pflugh for making an improper left turn.12:15 p.m. Thursday — Jennifer Vandervort, 32, of Dayton, Armstrong County, was caught allegedly shoplifting six items worth $179 at the Kohl's store in the Butler Crossing shopping plaza. Vandervort is charged with retail theft.1:57 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Michael Kobert, 38, of Butler crashed into a center barrier on Route 8 south on Armco hill.

8:27 a.m. Saturday — A 17-year-old driver, who police did not identify, was hurt when the youth's car struck a tree in the 100 block of George Junior Road. Grove City and Pine Township volunteer firefighters had to extricate the teen from the vehicle.The youth, who was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries, was cited for an unspecified traffic violation.2:03 a.m. Saturday — Ryan Beatty, 32, of Volant was arrested after police found him sleeping in the middle of the road on Park Street near East Pine Street. Beatty is charged with public drunkennessSaturday — John B. Milligan, 29, of Pittsburgh and Brandy J. Wynns, 23, of Eau Claire landed in trouble with the law stemming from a domestic dispute at the Park Motel on West Main Street. Police said they cited both for harassment.Additionally, Wynns is charged with criminal mischief for allegedly damaging a television belonging to Milligan.

Monday — Brian S. Lewis, 36, of Greenwood, Ind., was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 19 at St. Francis Way in Cranberry Township.
