Tammy Beth McQuay of Fredonia, formerly of 688 Creek Road, Volant, died unexpectedly Dec. 29.

She was born Nov. 29, 1957, the daughter of Ed and Beulah McQuay.

Her hobbies were caring for animals, including cats, dogs and horses; riding her horse, Sugar; playing bingo; and watching movies.

She earned her GED, attended a technical school for welding and later was a nail technician.

She is survived by a son, Jason J. Self; and a grandchild.

<B>MCQUAY</B> — Family and friends of Tammy Beth McQuay, who died Dec. 29, 2008, are welcome from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday for a memorial service at the Baptist Church, 220 Fountain Ave., Ellwood City.
