Darlene L. Sequete
Darlene L. Sequete, 67, of Butler went home to be with her Lord at 7:14 a.m. Sunday as a result of an automobile accident.
Born Dec. 30, 1941, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John G. Laughner Sr. and Alva Mae Weir Laughner.
Darlene was a registered nurse, graduating from the Butler School of Nursing in 1962. She worked in outpatient surgery at Butler Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1997. She most recently worked at Mitra Arthritis.
She was a member of the Nurses Alumni of Butler Memorial Hospital, and she helped with Meals on Wheels in Butler.
Darlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Butler since 1964, but recently she had been baptized, was worshipping and was intending to become a member of Community Alliance Church with her family.
Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her beloved dog, Toby.
Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Carmen Sequete, who she married April 27, 1984.
Darlene is survived by a daughter, Robin E. and husband, Dale Swidzinski, of Butler; two sons, David H. Tack Jr. and Eric L. Tack and his wife Jody, both of Butler; three granddaughters, Ashley Tack, Maura Swidzinski and Katie Knights, all of Butler; one grandson, Dylan Swidzinski of Butler; two brothers, Ed and Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
<B>SEQUETE</B> — Friends of Darlene L. Sequete, who died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Community Alliance Church with Pastor Dennis L.
