Sara M. Murray
Sara M. Murray, 80, of Frazer Township, Allegheny County, died Saturday in Consulate Health Care, Indiana Township, Allegheny County.
She was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Springdale, to the late Michael and Margaret Rae Schuffert and had lived in that area all her life.
She had worked as a school bus driver with Laidlaw Transit for 17 years and was a member of the Valley Gospel Church in Harmarville.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Anderson, of Frazer Township; two sons, Earl (Joan) Murray Jr. of Saxonburg and John (Betty) Murray of Leechburg; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Wanda) Schuffert, of New Kensington and Art (Judy) Schuffert of Springdale; and a sister, Georgina Lebitz of Apollo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Murray Sr.; a sister, Erina Schuffert; and three brothers, Jim, Raymond and David Schuffert.
<B>MURRAY</B> — Friends of Sara M. Murray, who died Saturday, July 4, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME</B>, 801 Pittsburgh St., Springdale. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Valley Gospel Church, Harmarville. Please meet at the church.
