The Kims in 1951

James “Bud” and Marylin Kim of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage.

The former Marylin Dodds married Kim on Oct. 13, 1951, at Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have two children, Marcey Kim and James J. Kim, both of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Kim is a former employee of American Hardware and retired in 1985 from Marmon-Keystone.

Mrs. Kim retired in 1992 from Mine Safety Appliances in Callery, where she worked as a receptionist.

The couple belonged to the former Calvary United Presbyterian Church.
