Miller 90th birthday
Richard Miller of Cabot will celebrate his 90th birthday with family.
Miller was born Sept. 24, 1921, in Butler. He married the late Virginia Yost on Oct. 2, 1942, at St. Marks Evangelical Lutheran Church.
He has five children, Bron Miller of Butler, Gary Miller of Perrysburg, Ohio, Tim Miller of Mauldin, S.C., Priscilla Cary of Wilmington, Ohio, and Rebekah Norris of North Las Vegas, Nev.
He also has 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Miller owned and operated Miller’s Studios, which was a sign painting shop, and Modern-Ad, which was a wholesale distributor of post cards and souvenirs.
Miller maintains an interest in photography, which was the backbone of his founding of Modern-Ad.
He is no longer physically able to pursue his interest in gardening.
Miller is a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church.
