The McCommons in 1962

Paul and Susan McCommons of Latrobe celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner.

McCommons married the former Susan Anderson on May 26, 1962, at the Methodist Church in Eau Claire.

They have two children, Paula McCommons of Edgewood and David McCommons of Ellwood City.

They also have three grandchildren.

McCommons is the Chief Deputy Sheriff in Westmoreland County.

He is a former Butler City policeman and a former state policeman.Mrs. McCommons co-owns a preschool and is a former beautician.The McCommons are members of the Lutheran Church in Latrobe.
