The Rodgerses in 1962

Grant and Shirley Rodgers celebrated 50 years of marriage with a party with family and friends.

Rodgers married the former Shirley Wise on June 2, 1962, at East Butler Presbyterian Church.

They have four children, Donald Rodgers and Ronald Rodgers, both of Butler, Sally Fox of Cabot and Mike Rodgers of Rural Valley.

They also have 10 grandchildren.

Rodgers worked at Pullman Standard and retired from John Thrower Jr. Trucking.

Mrs. Rodgers is a homemaker.

The Rodgerses are members of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church.
