Ernest Myers

Ernest Myers of Portersville celebrated his 96th birthday with a family dinner.

Myers was born on Aug. 18, 1916, in Muddycreek Township. He married Dorothy Beighley-Myers on Aug. 28, 1943, at Mountville Church in Portersville.

He has three children, Richard Myers of Rockledge, Fla., Sue Haggerty of Saxonburg and Beth Patton of Portersville.

He also has three grandchildren.

Myers retired from Armco after 43 years. He is a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Keen Agers, both in Portersville.
