Treese 65th anniversary

The Treeses in 1947

Armel and Jean Treese of St. Barnabas Retirement Community, formerly of Cranberry Township, will celebrate 65 years of marriage.

Treese married the former Jean Gebhardt on Aug. 1, 1947, at Grace Lutheran Church in Troy Hill.

They have two children, Linda Treese of Mars and Timothy Treese of New Kensington.

They also have one granddaughter.

Treese is retired from Roach and Ziegler after 27 years.

He served in World War II with the 104th Timberwolfs in Germany.

Mrs. Treese is a homemaker.

The Treeses belong to Plains Presbyterian Church in Cranberry Township, where Treese has been a member for 68 years and Mrs. Treese for 64 years.
