The Cresses in 1947

Dewitt and Annabel Cress of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Cress married the former Annabel Myers on Sept. 12, 1947, at St. John’s Reformed Church.

They have four children, Diane Riley, Russell Cress and Dawna Cress, all of Butler, and Ronald Cress of South Carolina.

They also have nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Cress is retired from Armco.

Mrs. Cress is retired from Troutmans and is a housewife.

The Cresses are members of St. John’s Reformed Church.
