Donald and Dorothy Shockey of Butler will celebrate 55 years of marriage.

Shockey married the former Dorothy Montgomery on Sept. 28, 1957, at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights.

They have five children, Katherine Enfield of Albany, N.Y., Alyse Shockey of Jessup, Md., Doug Shockey of Humbolt, Ill., Gregg Shockey of Irwin, and Scott Shockey of Savoy, Ill.

They also have six grandchildren.

Shockey retired in 1988 from his job at International Harvester in Chicago, Ill.

Mrs. Shockey is retired from Kraft in Champaign, Ill.
