Hawkins, Haag

Amanda and Benjamin Haag

Amanda Hawkins of Slippery Rock and Benjamin Haag of Sandy Lake were united in marriage Sept. 22 in Slippery Rock. Mark Majevic officiated. A reception followed at the Slippery Rock Township Building.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Laura Hawkins of Slippery Rock. Parents of the bridegroom are Sam and Roberta Haag of Sandy Lake.

The honor attendant was Jennifer Lang of Plain Grove, Pa. Bridesmaids included Ashley Crawford of Portersville and Jackie Depto of Kane.

Performing the duties of best man was Darren Coast of Cortland, Ohio. Ushers included Joe Romanko of Mercer and Dan Lang of Plain Grove.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University with a degree in law enforcement and parks and resource management.

She is employed by USIS in Boyers.

The bridegroom graduated from Lakeview High School in 2005.

He is employed by Imperial Systems in Jackson Center, Pa.

Following a honeymoon trip to Oak Island, N.C., the couple is making their home in Greenville.
