Helen Benson

Helen Benson of Cranberry Township will celebrate her 100th birthday with a family reunion from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Villas at Isleworth Club House, 1080 Wealdstone Road, Cranberry Township.

The former Helen Winslow was born on March 2, 1913, in Stony Creek, N.Y. She married the late Bertram Benson on Sept. 23, 1933.

She has three children, Beverly Ferguson Hill of Erie, Sharon Salak of Cranberry Township and Marcia Ellwanger of Hayward, Calif.

She also has 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Benson is a homemaker and she is a Presbyterian.
