Paul and Dorothy Steighner

Paul and Dorothy Steighner of Saxonburg celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family weekend retreat at Woodland Lodge, Grand Valley, Pa.

Steighner married the former Dorothy Rule on June 6, 1953, at Summit United Presbyterian Church in Butler.

They have three children, Daniel Steighner, Robert Steighner and Kimberly Steighner, all of Butler.

They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Steighner is a retired general manager and director of community finance.

Mrs. Steighner is a homemaker and a retired licensed practical nurse. She is a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital auxiliary.

The Steighners are members of Summit United Presbyterian Church.
