James and Roberta Glenn

James and Roberta Glenn of Houston celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner hosted by their children in Houston. Glenn grew up in Butler.

Glenn married the former Roberta Turner on Aug. 24, 1963, at Los Angeles Heights United Methodist Church in San Antonio.

They have three children, Christopher Glenn of Houston, Cynthia Fichtel of Houston and Scott Glenn of Boulder, Colo.

They also have two grandchildren.

Glenn is a chemist.

Mrs. Glenn is a medical technologist.
