Donald and Karen Wehr

Donald and Karen Wehr of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage at a dinner with family and friends at the North Main Street Church of God fellowship hall in Butler. They also celebrated with a cruise to Alaska.

Wehr married the former Karen L. Raisley on Oct. 11, 1963, at the First United Presbyterian Church of Portersville.

They have two children, Elaine (John) Weaver of Renfrew and Eric (Kimberlee) Wehr of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren.

Wehr retired from Armco in 1997 and from Penn Christian Academy.

Mrs. Wehr is a registered nurse and homemaker. She worked for Butler Health System.

She is a member of Butler County Memorial Hospital Nurses Alumnae Association.

The Wehrs are members of the North Main Street Church of God.
