Barbara and Paul Lowers

Paul J. and Barbara A. Lowers of Harrisville will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner in Harrisville.

Lowers married the former Barbara Hoffman on Nov. 21, 1953, at Harrisville Methodist Church.

They have three children, Wendy S. (Gary) Turner of Harrisville, P. Joseph (Patricia) Lowers Jr. of Harrisville and Stephen A. (Lisa) Lowers of Grove City.

They also have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lowers retired from management at Cooper Energy Services after 40 years of service.

Mrs. Lowers retired from retail sales at King’s Shoes, Flowers Hardware and Collin’s Shoes in Grove City.

They are lifelong, active members of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.
