Verda and Harry Texter

Harry and Verda Texter of Parker celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Texter married the former Verda Gray on Feb. 11, 1949, in Petrolia.

They have two sons, Patrick of Parker and Michael of Chicora.

They also have seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Texter is retired from Koppers Co. (Indspec) of Petrolia.

Mrs. Texter is a homemaker.

The Texters are members of First United Methodist Church in Parker.
