Jack Gaiser

Jack Gaiser of Chicora will celebrate his 90th birthday. The presence of his friends at an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. March 29 at Karns City United Methodist Church is the only present requested.

Gaiser was born April 1, 1924, in Goff, Pa. He married the late Elsie McCollough on Sept. 16, 1944, at the Chicora-Karns City Methodist parsonage.

He has four children, Thomas (Charlene) Gaiser of Amelia, Ohio, James (Irene) Gaiser of East Brady, Colin Gaiser of Chicora and Kim Gaiser of Chicora.

He also has seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Gaiser retired from Witco Chemical as a bricklayer.

He is a member of the Karns City Methodist Church, Legion Post 642 of Chicora and the Bruin Bowling League.
