These Halloween recipes are frightfully good

The crisp autumn air and crackling leaves underfoot are a reminder to mummies everywhere that Halloween is hiding just around the next tombstone.

This year, fill the day with fun by baking a few of these Hallow-winning recipes. Your costumed creatures will howl with fright-night delight to the very last bite!

Any little tummy will love Yummy Mummy Dogs made with easy prepackaged frozen roll dough. Simply roll thawed dough into a rope, wind it around a wiener, and bake your mummy in the hot Egyptian sun . . . or your oven. In just minutes, you'll have a memorable meal all wrapped up!

The glowing jack-o'-lantern pizzas are guaranteed to carve a grin on the face of even the fiercest little ghoul. Mexican-themed down to the beans and enchilada sauce, the surprising trick to this treat is the crushed nacho cheese tortilla chips baked right in.

You can have some Halloween fun tricking grown up guests into thinking you slaved over the stove by baking up this boo-tiful Cinnamon Blueberry Crumble.

Freezer-to-oven frozen cinnamon roll dough and blueberry pie filling make this recipe so easy . . . it's scary! Warm and wonderful, this clever crumble is also perfect for a cozy Fall brunch or just a home-baked snack to munch.

9 bake-and-eat cinnamon rolls21 ounce can blueberry pie filling¼ cup butter, softened½ cup flour½cup brown sugar1 cup chopped pecansCream cheese frosting (included with cinnamon rolls)Arrange frozen rolls in 3 rows of 3 in a sprayed 9- by 13-inch baking pan.Spread blueberry pie filling evenly over and between rolls. Combine butter, flour, brown sugar and pecans and sprinkle over pie filling.Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Drizzle with cream cheese frosting while still warm.

12 frozen Texas-style dinner rolls or 24 regular frozen dinner rolls, thawed and risen1 pound lean ground beef1 packet taco seasoning16 ounce can refried beans1 2/3 cups mild salsa3 cups taco-flavored tortilla chips, crushed¾ cup mild enchilada sauce2 cups grated cheddar cheesesuggested garnishes: pepperoni, olives red & green peppers and cheese slicesFlatten a Texas roll or 2 dinner rolls into a 5-inch circle. Repeat with remaining rolls. Place on a large sprayed baking sheets. Cook ground beef with taco seasoning according to the directions on the packet.Mix ground beef mixture, beans and salsa together. Divide evenly between dough circles. Toss chips with enchilada sauce and spoon evenly over hamburger mixture.Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Remove from oven and garnish as desired to resemble Jack-o-Lanterns.

9 bake and serve cinnamon rolls2 medium-size Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into small pieces1/3 cup brown sugar1/3 cup graham cracker crumbs½ cup chopped pecans½ teaspoon cinnamonIcing:Cream cheese frosting (included with rolls)4 tablespoons caramel ice cream toppingLet rolls sit on counter until thawed, about 45 minutes. Cut each roll into 6 pieces and spread evenly over the bottom of a sprayed 9- by 9-inch baking pan.Combine apple, sugar, cracker crumbs, pecans and cinnamon. Sprinkle over rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.Combine cream cheese frosting and caramel sauce and drizzle over dessert while still warm.

Frozen dinner roll dough, thawed, but still coldBun length hot dogsMustardFor each mummy dog, cut one dinner roll in half. Roll each half into a 22- to 24-inch rope. Wrap one rope around hot dog from bottom up 4Z\x inches. Cut a 1½-inch piece off of the second rope and set aside. Wrap the second rope around the hot dog from the bottom up 4½ inches going the opposite way. Wrap the 1½-inch piece around the top of the hot dog.Place Mummy Dogs on a sprayed baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven, cool slightly and add mustard eyes. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard.
