2:56 a.m. Saturday - Steven Deal, 21, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and multiple traffic violations following a traffic stop at the intersection of Elm and West Penn streets.4:15 a.m. Friday - Sean Sortino, 35, of Butler turned himself in for an outstanding bench warrant issued by the Butler County Sheriff's office.2:43 a.m. Friday - API Auto on South Monroe Street reported a bad check written by Tiffney Edinger, 23, of Parker.2:56 a.m. Friday - Friedman's Supermarket on West Brady Street reported bad checks written by Quay Steffan, 29, Marina Zellonis, 34, Channing Krulicki, 39, and Renee Simons, 38, all of Butler.

1:15 a.m. Saturday - A truck driven by Jason Hartman, 19, of Prospect was traveling on Mahood Road near Red Dog Road in Center Township when it hit a telephone pole. Hartman had minor cuts and scrapes to his hands and arms. He was wearing a seat belt. The truck was towed.8:10 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by Lois McCall, 57, of Chicora was traveling on Lower Green Street in Chicora when it was struck by an ATV attempting to cross the road using an alley. The unknown ATV driver didn't stop.Wednesday - Eric Fair, 44, of Parker reported an attempted burglary in the shed at his 109 Century St. residence between Sunday and Wednesday. Although the shed's hasp, the metal fastener used with a lock, was cut, it's unknown if the person gained entry because no items were missing.

8:55 p.m. Thursday - Jeffrey Marks of Saxonburg was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 28 near the Harmar exit in Allegheny County.

Thursday - A wallet belonging to Sally Soppitt, 86, of State Street was stolen when Soppitt was stopped in the drive-through lane of a West Main Street business. A white female approached Soppitt's vehicle and asked for directions. She then reached inside the vehicle and took the leather wallet from the dash and fled. The suspect is described as a white female about 30 years old with blonde hair.Wednesday - A silver Mitsubishi Eclipse owned by Tom Dodey, 112½ S. Broad St. Apt. 1, was reported stolen from a South Broad Street parking lot. The theft occurred between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 4 p.m. Wednesday.Aug .16 - A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female rear-ended a police cruiser that had stopped for a pedestrian on South Broad Street. The juvenile driver was cited for careless driving.Aug 16 - Deborah Lynn St. John, 33, of 303 Elm St. was charged with bad checks. St. John passed a bad check June 6 to Grove City Borough for $100.
