SAXONBURG — Karolyn Wyble, registered nurse, has been promoted to director of nursing at the Saxony Health Center.

She has held various positions in long-term care and hospitals in Pittsburgh over the past 14 years. She earned her bachelor's in nursing at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, N.Y.

She is a Leadership Alle-Kiski Valley student and supports the Strongland Chamber of Commerce.

Wyble lives in Natrona Heights with her husband and two daughters.

GIBSONIA — The board of trustees for Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas has been re-elected.They are: Harry Austin III of Wexford, chairman; Karen Tabacchi of Jefferson Township, president; Shelly Jenkins of Ohio Township, secretary; J. Victor Conrad of Cranberry Township, treasurer.

Butler County Ford is joining with the Ford Motor Co., to give scholarships to National FFA members.More than 6,060 $1,000 college scholarships have been awarded to FFA members across the country since 1997 — about $6.1 million.Cathy Glasgow, owner of Butler County Ford, is sponsoring the Built Ford Tough collegiate scholarship program for Knoch Junior/Senior High School and Moniteau Junior/Senior High School. FFA students from each school will compete for the scholarship from Butler County Ford.To apply, students should fill out an online 2011 scholarship application at www.ffa.org, and present the required signature page to Butler County Ford for the dealer endorsement and official dealer code.</B>
