Twin Oaks housing plan tabled
BUFFALO TWP — The township supervisors Wednesday tabled voting on the Twin Oaks housing plan.
Supervisor John Haven, board chairman, said in an interview that the plan, which entails 98 single-family units along Route 356, was tabled because more information is needed.
“Nothing’s finished yet,” Haven said.
The plan is the initial step for developer John Allen to build roughly 280 homes on the 160-acre site.
Haven said a time waiver would be sent by the developer to extend the time a vote should be taken.
Steven Victor, landscape architect for Victor-Wetzel Associates, the Sewickley firm that designed the plan, previously said construction would begin in February 2017.
A new hearing has not yet been scheduled.
