Robert A. Davidson, 61, of Mars died Monday morning, at his home.

Born in Adams Township on May 30, 1948, he was the son of the late Harold A. and Setta Frederick Davidson.

Mr. Davidson had been a carpenter for Fox Homes in Mars and for Professional Contracting Services Inc. in Cranberry Township, retiring because of his illness.

He was a member of Old Union Presbyterian Church in Adams Township. He was an avid reader and hunter, and he loved life.

Surviving are seven sisters, Vera Fester and her husband, Homer, of Parker, Jane Kosinski and her husband, Ed, of Valencia, Helen Harter and her husband, Dale, of Butler, Betty Raith of Valencia, Nancy Bodema of Butler and Gloria Davidson and Bonnie Everly, both of Mars; and two brothers, Ralph Davidson and his wife, Christine, of Renfrew and Chris Davidson and his wife, Gail, of Zelienople. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, June Davidson, and two brothers, Donald and James Davidson.

<B>DAVIDSON</B> — A memorial service for Robert A. Davidson, who died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, will be in Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, with the Rev.
