Shane Kozlina and Patrick Dolan scored 1 minute, 20 seconds apart in the second period to give Seneca Valley’s hockey team a lead it would not give up in Thursday’s 3-2 defeat of Upper St. Clair at Island Sports Center.

It was the second goal of the night for Kozlina. He gave the Raiders the lead with his first goal just 70 seconds into the game before Upper St. Clair battled back to take a 2-1 advantage.

CJ Phillips and Ryan Russell both had two assists for the Raiders and Alex Johnson had one.

Zander Stark stopped 24 of 26 shots for SV (12-7).
