Vitalant holding five blood drives in Butler County in June
June is the month of World Blood Donor Day, which is commemorated on Friday, June 14. As always, organizations such as Vitalant are calling on the public to turn out and donate to increase the blood supply and potentially save lives.
Vitalant is holding five blood drives in Butler County this month. Two are scheduled for Butler: one on Friday, June 7, at the Masonic Lodge 769 on South Main Street, and the other on Thursday, June 20, at the Butler Eagle building on West Wayne Street.
The Lutheran SeniorLife Passavant Community in Zelienople is hosting a drive on Friday, June 7.
Buffalo Township’s Zion Methodist Community Church on Beaver Creek Road is hosting a drive on Thursday, June 20.
Finally, on Thursday, June 27, the Armco Credit Union in Mars is hosting a blood drive.
