Two companies, including one in Butler Township, have created a multiyear partnership to help music educators plan their trips.

CCIS Travel of Butler Township and USBands of Allentown on Friday announced the three-year partnership.

As part of the agreement, CCIS Travel will work with the USBands team to provide all-inclusive group travel to the organization’s growing portfolio of fall marching band events and spring concert festivals.

Additionally, USBands member schools will benefit from CCIS Travel’s 23 years of experience in serving school music groups.

CCIS will sponsor USBands’ National Sign-up Day for fall marching bands. Band directors will be able to receive guidance and planning assistance on their travel when signing up.

In addition, CCIS Travel will be the title sponsor to one of USBands premiere regional marching band championships in the fall of 2016, 2017 and 2018. USBands and CCIS Travel also will work together on future events and festivals to bring new experiences to students and educators across the country.

For more than 20 years, CCIS has focused on customized, all-inclusive group travel planning. Its primary focus is on musical group travel.

In Butler County, it works with the marching bands from the Butler, Moniteau, Seneca Valley and Mars school districts.

USBands serves as a competitive circuit for scholastic music programs nationwide, providing performance venues and judging for thousands of students.

Each year, more than 700 musical groups participate in 150 USBands-sanctioned events.
