Christmas Eve services will be held at the following churches. Unless otherwise noted, all services will be held on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Chapel on the Hill Assemblies of God, Route 208, west of Emlenton, will host services at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. The services will feature music by the Worship Team, Sarah Smith and Genola Clark.

Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will host a candlelight contemporary service with music by Sojourner at 5:30 p.m.A candlelight, family centered service of scriptural lessons and carols begins at 7:30 p.m.A candlelight service at 11 p.m. concludes the Christmas Eve celebration.

Christian Praise and Worship Church, Bradys Bend, will observe a candle-lighting service at 7:30 p.m. The service will feature music by the Rev. Berkebile and Patricia Check.

Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave., will host candlelight services with Communion at 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Center Township, will host Christmas Eve services at 9:30 and 11 a.m. and 5:30 and 7:15 p.m.

Community Life Church, McQuistion Elementary School, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.

Cornerstone Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 6 p.m.

Covenant Life Church, 220 New Castle St., will host a presentation of a Nativity play at 10 a.m.

Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will host a traditional service of lessons and carols at 7:30 p.m. A concert of Christmas music will begin at 7 p.m.

East Butler Presbyterian Church, Ninth and Randolph streets, East Butler, will celebrate Christmas Eve at 6 p.m. with a candlelight service including carols, readings, and the sacrament of Holy Communion.

Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 North Main Street Ext., Center Township, will host a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. William Jamieson will lead the service. Nursery care is available.

Crestview Presbyterian Church, Church Street, Callery, will host a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 8 p.m. The service will feature music by the choir and bell choir.

First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., the church will host a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m.

First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will host a Christmas Eve service at 10:30 p.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated during the service.A children's service will be held at 4:30 p.m. and the regular Sunday service will begin at 10 a.m.

First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, will hold a Christmas Eve worship service at 10 a.m., celebrating the fourth Sunday in Advent.Christmas Eve candlelight services will be at 5 p.m., with music by children of the church; 7 p.m., with the Praise Band and Drama Team; and 10 p.m., with music by the Chancel and bell choirs.

First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., will host Christmas Eve services at 6 and 8 p.m. in the Sanctuary, a 7 p.m. Crossfire service at Butler Junior High School, a 9:30 p.m., God's Country service in Epworth Center and an 11 p.m. Communion and candlelight service in the Sanctuary.

Friendship Parish of the Beaver/Butler Presbytery, will host a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. at West Liberty Presbyterian Church, Church Street. Lay pastor Mark Frailey will lead the service.

Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will host a family Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. and a Christmas Eve traditional service at 8 p.m.

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will host Christmas Eve services at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The evening service will be a candlelight worship.

GraceWay Community Church, Center Township Elementary School, Mercer Road, will host a Christmas Eve service beginning with prelude music at 5:45 p.m. The service will include the lighting of the Christ Advent candle, readings and Holy Communion.

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will host the children and family service, "Happy Birthday Jesus" at 4 p.m.A traditional candlelight service will be held at 8 p.m., with a musical prelude at 7:30 p.m.

Homeacre Chapel, 340 Whitestown Road, will host a candlelight Communion service at 7 p.m.

Mars United Presbyterian Church, Crowe Avenue, Mars, will hold Christmas Eve services at 11 a.m. and 7 and 11 p.m. Communion will be served at the 11 p.m. service.

Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler Township, will hold a Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.

New Zion Evangelical Church, Route 38, five miles north of Emlenton, will host a candlelight Christmas Eve Communion service at 6 p.m.

North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 North Butler Church Road, will celebrate Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. with a candlelight Communion service, featuring music by soloists and the Sanctuary Choir.

Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 W. Airport Road, Penn Township, will host services at 8:30 and 11 a.m.Afamily friendly service will begin at 4:30 p.m. and a traditional service will begin at 7:30 p.m.

North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will host a candlelight Christmas Eve service of Communion at 7 p.m.

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 East Jefferson St., will host Christmas Eve services at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Music will precede the evening candlelight service at 6:30 p.m.

St. Barnabas Health System will host a service at 7 p.m. today at Chapel of Divine Compassion, St. Barnabas Nursing Home, 5827 Meridian Road, Gibsonia.

St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68, across from Agway. A Christmas Eve candlelight Communion service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 East Main St., Evans City, will host a family service at 7 p.m. and a late evening service at 11 p.m. Both services feature Holy Communion, candle lighting and music. Regular services will be held at 8:35 and 11 a.m.

St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will host a 10 a.m. service. A live Nativity will be held at 4 p.m., followed by a family service at 5 p.m. and candlelight services with Communion at 7 and 9:30 p.m.

St. Paul's Community Church, 2167 State Route 268, Chicora, will host a traditional service at 11 p.m. with candlelight and Communion.

St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., will host Holy Communion at 3:30 and 11 p.m. and singing of carols at 10:30 p.m.A service with Holy Communion and music will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

St. Richard Roman Catholic Church, 3841 Dickey Road, Gibsonia, will host Christmas Eve Masses at 4 p.m., with music by the Children's Choir and Children's Handbell Choir; 4:15 p.m. in the Social Hall, with music by the Contemporary Group; 6:30 p.m., with music by the Lamperski sisters; and 10 p.m., with music by the Adult Choir and Adult Handbell Choir. There will be one Mass at 9 a.m. Christmas Day.

Saxonburg Memorial United Presbyterian Church, Main Street, will host services at 8 and 10:15 a.m. Acandlelight service with Communion will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Summit Presbyterian, 181 Caldwell Drive, will host a service at 10 a.m. Candlelight services will be held at 6 and 8 p.m.The children will join the Adult Choir during the 6 p.m. service and the Christmas Cantata will be performed during the 8 p.m. service.

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will host a festival worship service with Communion at 4 p.m.; a candlelight festival worship with Communion and music by the McCandless Bell Choir at 7 p.m. and a candle- light festival worship with Communion and music by the Chancel Choir at 10:30 p.m.

Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave., Butler Township, will host a service at 11 a.m. and a candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:30 p.m.

Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, will host a candlelight Communion service at 7:30 p.m.

West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church, 215 E. Church St., West Sunbury, will host a service at 10:30 a.m. and a candlelight service at 7 p.m. The services will feature music by the Chancel Choir and members of the congregation.

White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew, will host its annual candlelight service at 7:30 p.m.

Whitestown Road Baptist Church, 409 Whitestown Road, will celebrate the Nativity at 11 a.m. with vocal and instrumental music.A candlelight service will be held at 7 p.m.
